Vanguard reports that the incident occoured on Tuesday, July 25 when the oil workers who were working for a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation were ambushed by the terrorists. Top politicians in the region on the condition of anonymity confirmed the attack. Meanwhile, Four Boko Haram suspects including a father and son affiliated with the group were arrested by some soldiers in conjunction with vigilantes at Kurnari village and Nayinawa in Yobe state.
